STUNNING thin silk novelty print dress from the 1940s. This dress features a novelty print of Tall Ships & Knights with crests. There is a metal zipper on the side. The design of the dress is also stunning with shoulder pads to add drama. Wonderfully draped sleeves, button up top, fitted waistline, and asymmetrically draped skirt.

Hips: measured about 36” but the way it’s cut is hard to measure. definitely allows for a little more room as well - I have tried it on with 38” hips and it fit no problem. dress form has 35” hips for reference of smaller hips as well.

great vintage condition with a few issues to note: someone spent the time to restore this dress which includes replacing the shoulder pads (so they are likely 80s/90s), a repair near the hip draped detail that gets hidden by the detail itself, and one small repair on the sleeve. sold as found.
