Fantastic black wool knit zip up cardigan sweater from the 1940s. I tried doing a ton or research and reached out to some locals and the bests we can guess is that this and the other piece from the same collection are from a Hockey team. But other guesses included Basketball & Lacrosse. There's also a chance this sweater was hockey and the jacket is basketball/lacrosse and the person played both sports! Regardless this one is absolutely fantastic with NHL hockey style patches on the front!
