Truly fantastic designer two piece suit from the late 1940s / early 1950s. This set features a simple wool skirt with side metal zipper and the most dramatic jacket to top it! The jacket features a big collar then wraps over the front in an asymmetrical manner with three big buttons. Very dramatic! Jacket is lined but the skirt is unlined. Suit is wool.

*okay so the skirt does have a decent amount of seam allowance along the sides so you may be able to take out the waist if you add a bit to the waistband.
Condition:
nearly excellent vintage condition with the jackets only thing to note is that there are faux button holes on the sleeve cuffs but unsure if it used to have buttons there or not and the skirt having some nibbled right at the hem as shown - sold as found.
