Hard to find style of 1940s suede jacket / coat. Usually these are cropped or no longer than hip length. This one is long and has a more fitted coat aesthetic when belted. It is lined and has shoulder pads.

great vintage condition with some issues to note: as seen the buttons have suede wearing away - and then behind the buttons are starting to tear the suede a bit. still functional as it is with care. I don't have a lot of experience with suede so decided best not to try to fix it myself. otherwise there's some spotting / spots / wear to the suede as seen. presents really well aside from the buttons. sold as found.
