Beautiful lace and rayon dress from the 1940s. The top portion is supposed to give that "nude illusion" look but I always hesitate to say this as it's obviously meant for paler skin tones. Anyways, it still looks super cool, slight shoulder pads, fitted waistline with a nice detail on the black portion which then the skirt is black rayon. Metal zipper closure.
Label: Queen Dress & French Room David Spencer ltd. Victoria, BC labels
Measurements:
{ medium }
Bust: 37" maybe 38" snug
Waist: 28" maybe 29" snug
Hips: 44"
Length: 56"
Condition:
good vintage condition - if you look closely you will spot a bit of underarm discoloration (looks worse on the inside and isn't very noticeable on the outside and when worn) - I was too afraid to wash this one because of the delicacy of the lacy and sometimes rayons color run so I've priced accordingly instead - sold as found
