INCREDIBLE black silk dress by none other than Ceil Chapman from the late 1940s / early 1950s. This dress is so beautifully draped with unique pocket details, and buttons up the front.

Condition:
nearly excellent with minor signs of wear - noticed some hand stitching if you look really close to waist seam and some on interior seams (not original - likely slight alterations) - does not affect overall look or fit of this dress. Also, at centre front pleat when you move the pleat there is a line that is worn - don't really know how to describe it - shown in last image. sold as is.
